Project Team
The “Let it Flow” Watauga River Intake Project is being led by staff of the Town of Beech Mountain with oversight from the Town Council and support from the Beech Mountain Conservation Subcommittee.
A consultant team led by West Consultant Engineer Benjie Thomas has been retained by the Town to complete this work along with a team of subconsultants.
The Senior Project Management Team is made up of 5 members appointed by the Town Manager. They are actively involved in the process of developing a supplementary source of water for the Town. They will provide reporting about the Town’s supplemental water supply project to the Town Council.
The Senior Management Project Team meets on a regular basis.

The Council is made up of five members elected by the full-time residents of Beech Mountain. They provide oversight on the supplemental source of water project.
The Council meets on a regular basis on the second Tuesday of the month at 4:00pm in the Town Hall Council Room. These meetings are open to the public.

A subcommittee of interested Beech Mountain residents, this group consults with experts and develops ideas for water conservation to be presented to the Council.
The subcommittee will meet on a regular basis and volunteer members will be appointed.
