School & Camp Tours
The Beech Mountain Public Works Department offers school, summer camp and family group tours of its state-of-the art new Water Plant. Staff use models to depict the operation of the plant and also convey the importance of conserving water.
They offer water conservation tips and explain the unique water system utilized to serve Beech Mountain. Any student can become a Water Warrior and help teach their family and friends to save this precious resource.
